About Us
Praise hula is a spiritual and graceful dance and is a beautiful way to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ. The song becomes alive through the sound and movement of the dancers. The story is told when hula dancers interpret the words through their graceful hands, facial expressions, and movement of the body. Praise hula is a common practice at churches throughout Hawaii, and It is indeed a unique way of worship.

History

The story of Elohim Praise Hula before it was established. It all began in 2000, My friend invited me to attend a memorial service of one of the Kahalui Baptist Church members in Maui Hawaii. I saw this beautiful Hawaiian lady praising the Lord through dance. She was dancing so gracefully that it captivated me. The holy spirit touched my heart. The moment I saw Praise Hula, I fell in love with it. I joined the Praise Hula group, and that is how God called me to the ministry.
Eventually, I had my own Praise Hula dancers, and I had Praise Hula Outreach in Maui Hawaii. We worshiped in church, women’s conference, and Institute. I have served since 2000 up to 2003 in Hawaii.
My family and I moved to Florida in 2003. However, God was not done with me yet, he opened another opportunity for me to serve here in Palm Bay, Florida. I started Praise Hula Outreach with my dancers and served at churches, women’s conferences, nursing homes, special events, and traveled to neighboring cities in Florida up to the present days.
“For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”Jeremiah 20:11
